FAQs – Fake Websites & Counterfeit Products
I've ordered from a fake website, what do I do now?
If you have purchased from a fake website, you may have been a victim of fraud. We strongly advise you to contact your bank or payment provider immediately — they can guide you on how to request a refund for the counterfeit items. Please also report the fraudulent website through the link above so that our team can work to have it removed as quickly as possible.
Can you refund me for my charge?
Unfortunately, as these sites are in no way connected to GymShark, we are unable to process a refund. Please reach out to your bank or payment provider directly for support in recovering your funds.
Are my bank details at risk if I've ordered from a fake website?
We recommend that you contact your bank immediately if you have concerns about your financial details. They will provide the best guidance to secure your account. Please also stay alert to potential phishing emails or scams that may follow such transactions.
I've seen an advertisement on social media for a sale, is this real?
If GymShark is running a sale, you will see it across our official, verified social media channels. Always check that the account posting about a promotion has the verified badge before engaging.
I've been contacted through Instagram, was this you?
We will only ever contact you from our official, verified accounts. If the account does not have a verified badge, it is not GymShark. If you are unsure, please contact our customer support team directly. You can also report fake ads or accounts on social media platforms by clicking the three dots in the corner of the ad and selecting “Report.” The more reports received, the quicker these accounts can be removed.
How do I know what is a legitimate website?
GymShark products are sold exclusively through our official website: gymshark.com. We do not authorize sales through third-party websites. Always double-check the URL before placing an order.
What are you doing to prevent this from happening?
Our team actively monitors and works to remove fake websites and fraudulent ads. We also share tips across our social channels and blog to educate and protect our community.
